Fundraising drive for brain cancer research

Every year, more than 1,200 Australians lose their lives to brain cancer, with a new brain cancer case diagnosed every five hours.

Sadly, in recent months a senior member of our team, James Thomas (Director of People Services), was diagnosed with 'stage 4' brain cancer and has now commenced treatment in his hometown of Perth, Western Australia.

James has been responsible for bringing our Employer of Record solution to the market in 2023, and also manages all recruitment efforts internally within our ABN Australia practice.

In solidarity with James and countless others affected by this formidable disease, we are supporting his crucial fundraising campaign dedicated to advancing research in the field of brain cancer (brain cancer survival rates have increased just 1% over the last 30 years). Our goal is to contribute to cutting-edge initiatives that will provide hope to James and the countless individuals facing similar challenges.

James will be attempting to complete the Festive 500 challenge (cycling 500km between Christmas and New Year), while undergoing daily radiation and chemotherapy, to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research.

Brain cancer is a formidable opponent, but with your support, we can make a difference. Funds raised will directly fund ground-breaking research, innovative treatments, and support services for those affected by this relentless disease.
